Leading the Change

Sevenoaks Dental & Wellbeing is the combined vision of Dr Simon Moore and Dr Anita Selvarangan, set up in 2022.

We are both Kings College graduates with over fifty years of knowledge between us. We have been part of the local Sevenoaks area for most of our lives – Anita’s first school job was even at the local Tesco. We strongly felt there was a lack of dental services in Dunton Green, plus ongoing access issues in the surrounding areas.

Our passion has led us to provide a community-based centre for outstanding, honest, preventative and integrative dental care. We are committed to providing tailor-made treatments to help you achieve optimum oral health via positive behaviour change and a healthy lifestyle. We are dedicated to putting our patients’ interests first and foremost.

We believe in preventing dental disease before it even occurs. We also believe that prevention is personal to you – everyone has different psychological, environmental and social factors affecting them. We are here to listen to you, understand and assist.  We are a fully private practice also offering competitive membership plans to help you budget for your dental care.  We want to hear from you and what you would like to see here.

An exceptional team

We have hand-picked this core team to start our Sevenoaks Dental & Wellbeing family. Everyone has a proven record of excellent patient care, people skills, and kindness, and is naturally driven to keep improving. Many of our staff have not only worked in dental practices but also in hospitals, children’s services and community centres. Everyone is encouraged to keep learning and attending courses for their professional and personal development.

We look after our team by providing regular Wellbeing Meetings, and great performance is rewarded by benefits such as vouchers and spa days. We strongly believe that a happy and nourished team will pass on their caring energy much better.

Bespoke design

We have custom designed this brand new practice with state-of-the-art equipment to provide the most modern and up-to-date experience for our patients. We have a car park on-site, disabled accessibility, a 3D CBCT scanner plus exceptionally large main surgeries with windows and consultation desks to provide a more relaxed ambience. We have even allocated a therapy room for complementary services.

Having visited and researched the latest practices and dental techniques from London to the U.S., we aimed to create a practice of the future right here in Dunton Green. We will strive to continually evolve in the rapidly changing fields of dentistry and healthcare.  We have installed the latest air filtration units in surgeries and employ cross-infection procedures to keep you safe even during these times of Covid.

Sustainability and ethics

The practice has been set up with a strong focus on sustainability with many carefully considered features to reduce energy consumption and our impact on the environment. From custom-built energy-efficient computers, LED lights, an amalgam-free environment, and (as much as is feasibly possible) – a paper-free workplace. Most importantly, a team who is passionate about the community, and environment and creating real change. Future plans include installing electric car charging points, carefully considering recycling and reducing our carbon footprint.

We aim to work with local schools, charities and community endeavours and would love to hear from those who may benefit.

And beyond

Many of our team members have an interest in self-development and mental/physical well-being and can offer complementary services also.

We offer donation-to-charity-based meditation sessions for patients focusing on relaxation techniques. We feel it is important to create a sense of community outside of the dental chair. You have requested a more personal space and connection, which can be missing in today’s busy world full of distractions. Here you are heard, listened to and your opinions respected.

We will be offering various training events in due course and are keen to help individuals and businesses in combining professional and altruistic ideals.
