We check for tooth decay, tooth wear, gum disease, and occlusal (bite) problems and include a simple orthodontic assessment. Clinically required small radiographs may be taken and sometimes photographs.
How often you are advised to attend examinations will depend on your oral health. This is often every 6 months but could be every 9 or 12 if you are considered to be a more low risk from the above problems.
Treatment options will be provided and discussed thoroughly. You will be provided with a written treatment plan detailing the costs of any proposed treatment.
If you are seeking more involved cosmetic work or teeth straightening, you may need a subsequent appointment for more in-depth information taking and discussion about these options.Back to General Dentistry
